Dr. Kelly’s class, A Class for Girls, has been going strong for 2+ years. The class meets monthly with pre-tweens and their parents to learn more about themselves during puberty. An effort to improve information, access, empoweremnt, and advocacy of menstrual health, bodily autonomy, and reducing stigma about growing up in our community.

She is also a membership chairperson on the board of the Central Florida Postpartum Alliance, the first non-profit of like minded mental health and healthcare professionals who want to support, educate, and provide resources, scholarships, continuing educaiton, and organize events for our community - in person and virtually - to raise awareness of perinatal and manternal (and paternal) mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and more.

Dr. Kelly and her colleague Dr. Leslie Worth, a PhD Sex therapist, have a podcast, ‘Real Talk: Mind, Bod & Love’ where the two discuss how connected our two professions are and the need to embrace both for sucessful outcomes in our patients. We are working to reduce the stigma about taboo topics we know our patients face in the real world and medical communities when talking about reproductive health, intimacy, and our own bodies.

She is also a wife, mom of 2 kids, and native Floridian who enjoys trips to the beach, time at Disney, and volunteering with her children’s schools on their PTA and SAC groups.
